The Titanic was the largest, tallest and most luxurious ship in the world at the time of her maiden voyage. She was the newest addition to the prestigious British White Star Ship Line but was in fact owned by wealthy American financier, J.P. Morgan's trust, International Mercantile Marine.

The 18-foot scale Titanic model you're looking at is one-of-a-kind. It was built exclusively for this exhibit by world-renowned German designer, Peter Davies-Garner from the original working drawings of Irish shipbuilders, Harland and Wolff.

It took over two years to complete the model because of the designer's meticulous attention to detail and his unwavering commitment to the Titanic.
